The Power of Herbalife in Sport

For Peak Performance

A Personalised weight management programme

That's as easy as 1, 2, and 3 Personalised Programme

Depending on your body type, fat is distributed differently across your body - in men fat is always distributed in the upper body, while in women fat can be across the upper body, lower body, or proportionally distributed.

You will require different amounts of protein in your diet to build lean body mass.

Your ShapeWorks Coach understands your body's requirements and will coach your weight-loss goals based on your personalised Shapeworks program helping you achieve your desired weight.

The Shapeworks program is not a "diet scheme" that you get on for a week or two and see what happens - it is a nutrition solution, giving your body quality nutrition with just a few calories.

Shapeworks is based on the work of Dr David Hebur author of The L.A Shape Diet, which explains shape & weight are related but they are not the same thing.

Most people don't understand their shape so they have unrealistic expectations and go on fad diets to try to get rid of fat. They might lose weight, but they can't keep it off. So the cycle continues without complete success or long-term fulfilment.

If you eat fewer calories than you burn, you lose weight. However most diets don't work permanently, and rather make you malnourished and fatter. That why we need nutrition, not starvation!

"The key to healthy weight loss, is making sure the reduced calories you eat are providing the nutrition you need"

  SHAPEWORKSTM QUICKSTART

Managing your weight has never been easier with the introduction of ShapeWorksTM by Herbalife- a meal replacement programme that is actually tailored to suit your individual body's needs.

ShapeWorksTM is based on personalised levels of protein, which has a key role in weight management because it helps to build lean body mass. The higher our lean body mass, the higher our metabolism, and the more calories we burn.

How does it work?

Step1: Know Your Body: the first step is to determine just how much protein you need to help you manage your weight and change your body shape. Your ShapeWorks Coach will work this out for you based on your current height and weight.

Step 2: Enjoy Your Ideal Meal: for your weight management plan, enjoy two delicious and nutritious soy protein-based meal replacement shakes for breakfast and lunch, treat yourself to some healthy snacks and then take a nutritious evening meal combining protein such as chicken, fish or tofu and a pile of colourful vegetables. For weight maintenance, just replace one meal a day.

Step 3: Optimize Your Success: it's normal to struggle with hunger pangs and cravings, even when on a weight management programme suited to your individual needs. That's why Herbalife has a range of snacks and supplements to help, including crunchy soy nuts and chocolate covered protein bars.

Make sure you drink at least eight glasses of water a day, get plenty of appropriate exercise and you have the formula for success!

The science behind the ShapeWorkTM products is based on the studies and findings of Dr. David Heber Ph.D., Chairman of Herbalife's Scientific Advisory Board. He has spent almost two decades researching the principles of good nutrition and hunger satiation with clients at his clinic and believes that individualised approaches to getting in shape work best. This way you can get the right programme for you - customised to your own shape and body composition, lifestyle and personality.

ShapeworksTM products come in a variety of flavours; with Personalised Protein Powder to give you the flexibility you need to meet your individual protein needs and give you sustained energy between meals. A scientifically formulated multivitamin ensures you receive the essential nutrients daily.
